COPYRIGHT AND LICENSING

Copyright notice (effective: January 2023)
Since 2023, Authors retain unrestricted copyright and all publishing rights and published articles are distributed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (see below). Please note that since 2023 Authors, being the legitimate copyright holders, may disseminate their work online also before and during the submission process (e.g., by uploading pre-prints and post-prints to their institutional repositories or private websites). Such practice leads to productive exchanges and increases citations of the published work. Notwithstanding previous archiving, the journal accepts only unpublished submissions that constitute original research.

Italian Copyright Law
Italian Copyright Law (Law 663/1941 and later amendments, including Articles 2575–2583 of the Civil Code of 1942) always applies. This means that, notwithstanding changes in copyright and licensing terms, Authors hold moral rights on their work; such rights are eternal, non-transferable, and inalienable. Even in cases where Authors transfer their commercial rights to another individual or entity, the Authors could still oppose the mutilation or manipulation of their work should this practice cause harm or prejudice to their honour and reputation.

All articles published in Turistica are licensed under the CC BY 4.0 (Attribution 4.0 International) license. This license enables reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format, so long as attribution is given to the creator. The license allows for commercial use. Credit must be given to the creator. For more information, please visit the relevant page on Creativecommons.org. Authors who publish in Turistica agree with the licensing terms of the journal.
